I am passionate about understanding people and creating purposeful, intuitive and engaging digital experiences that meet user needs and business goals. 

I've been creating digital experiences for over ten years. My creative, technical and leadership experience as a designer, developer and project manager has provided me an aptitude for creating exceptional experiences. My solid digital background has inspired my path as a UX practitioner and has afforded me the qualities to empathize and communicate with users, team members and stakeholders.  

I am a strong advocate for user research and data-driven design. Exceptional and effective design is a product of science and art.

For the past four years I have been strategizing and designing user-centred digital experiences for Shaw Communications, Western Canada’s largest telecommunications company. 

Previously I have created educational resources delivered to the New Zealand's Ministry of Education and the Canadian military.

I am passionate about UX. Every user has a unique story to discover, every design is a new puzzle to solve, every team brings new inspirational ideas and every solution is an opportunity for an exceptional experience.  

I've been involved in projects from inception to delivery to post-launch, employing a variety of methods and approaches. I have formed a diverse portfolio including mobile and web-based applications, content websites, eLearning, e-commerce, and digital strategy.

As a UX practitioner I enjoy being able to engage both my creative and analytic sides while working with incredibly creative and talented people.
